Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation is an enabler for clean energy and climate solutions. They work with policy makers, civil society, industry, think tanks, and academia to identify and scale energy system interventions that will reduce GHG emissions and tackle climate change.

We are being supported by Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation for two of our activities for a period of two years (2024 to 2026). This support is provided to us under the ACCLIMATE Challenge fund for Civil Society Organisations (CSO) in India.

The ACCLIMATE Challenge Fund was launched to identify Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in India who are committed to expanding their work on various aspects of climate change. The objective was to provide the selected CSOs with technical assistance and financial support for a duration of 2 years to strengthen their organizational capacities, internal systems, and processes and contribute effectively to climate and development work in India. After careful evaluation and consideration of the applications, their expert panel selected 8 organisations from across India among which was our organisation.

The activities under the Acclimate Challenge Fund is towards Enhancing Sustainable Mobility and Building Climate Resilience in North-East India - in short Eco Move NE
