INTERNSHIP

Objective: 

We are seeking passionate and research-driven interns who are eager to contribute to innovative projects focused on shaping sustainable urban mobility in Guwahati. The internship aims to engage individuals in initiatives centered on Active Mobility and Public Transportation fostering sustainable and inclusive urban development in Guwahati. 

Requirements:

• Pursuing or completed B. Arch, B. Plan, B. Des, BE/ B. Tech (Civil, Mechanical), B.Sc, or any other relevant degree from a recognized university/college.

• Interns will be actively involved in tasks related to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD). As such, they are required to have relevant open-source software installed on their own workstations / computer laptops.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the PURVCA team(s) with on-ground data collection, primary and secondary research, reports, and presentations.

• Contribute to projects relating to sustainable urban transportation, street and junction designs, non-motorized transportation, and active mobility.

• Support in organizing events and outreach programs for PURVCA, aimed at promoting sustainable urban transportation initiatives.

Key Skills:

• Strong research and analytical skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, Photoshop, MS Office suite.

• Added Proficiency in SketchUp/ Revit will be an advantage.
