I am Car Free Today

Launched in February 2022 at a local festival,  I am Car Free Today is an online/offline campaign encouraging people to take a pledge to go car-free and use active mobility options (cycling/walking) or public transport to commute. During a period of 3 days more than 100 people participated in the campaign.

Participants register in the campaign and use a sports activity tracking app to keep a digital record of their commutes on cycles or by foot. A point-based system was devised so as to recognize the efforts of participants for their consistency and not the distance they had covered.
